What is SMS credit?
An SMS credit is the prepaid unit an SMS platform charges per message part. With Texto, one credit is 3¢: an Australian message part costs one credit, and a New Zealand message part costs three.
Credit pricing keeps costs predictable without a contract. You buy a balance, each message part draws it down, and there is no monthly minimum to meet.
Because charging is per part, a long message costs more than a short one. Counting segments before a large send is the simplest way to control campaign spend.
