What is Bulk SMS?
Bulk SMS is sending one message to many recipients at once from a single platform, typically with personalisation fields, scheduling and per-recipient delivery reporting.
A bulk send starts with a contact list — imported from CSV, synced from a CRM or built from groups — and a message template with merge fields such as a first name or booking time. The platform expands the template per recipient and queues the sends.
The parts that separate a bulk SMS platform from a loop over an API are list hygiene, opt-out suppression, scheduling in local time, and consolidated reporting on delivery and clicks.
