Why add SMS to your Braze strategy?

Braze's built-in SMS is powerful — but expensive. With the Texto integration, your marketing team keeps building campaigns, segments, and Canvases in Braze exactly as they do now. The only difference? SMS messages route through Texto at 3¢ each instead of what you're paying today. Opt-outs are still managed via Braze subscription groups. If you need link click tracking, Texto's URL shortener captures every click and forwards them back to Braze so you can track engagement without losing visibility. You don't lose any capability — you just pay less.

   Go to Integrations and click Connect on Braze

   Enter your Braze REST API Key, select your cluster endpoint (US-01 through US-10, EU-01, EU-02, or AU-01), and enter your Subscription Group ID

   Copy the webhook URL and secret that Texto generates

   In Braze, go to Templates → Webhook Templates and create a new template

   Set the webhook URL to your Texto URL and add an X-Texto-Secret header with your secret

   Set the JSON body to include phone, message, and optionally braze_external_id

   Use the template in any Campaign or Canvas step — SMS now sends via Texto at 3¢
